Sunday Worship Services
Every Sunday, the Harrodsburg Christian Church offers two Worship services. Each service features music leadership, Scripture readings, the minister's sermon, and communion (Lord's supper). Weekly communion is served by passing trays among the pews. Harrodsburg Christian is a lectionary-based church and follows the liturgical calendar.
9:00 A.M. Traditional Worship Service - This worship experience follows the traditional Worship format with the Choir leading the congregation in hymns and performing a weekly anthem
11:00 A.M. Praise and Worship Service - This worship experience started in November of 2005 with a volunteer Praise Team leading the congregation in a “blended” style of music ranging from hymns to contemporary songs. This service also utilizes projectors to help lead the congregation in Worship.
Children’s Church – During the 11:00 - Praise and Worship Service children ages 5-10 can attend Children’s Church. After the Children’s Chat in Worship Service these children go to the Youth Room and participate in an age appropriate Bible lesson, have a snack, and play a game. They return to the Worship Service before Communion to finish Worship with their families.
Childcare - Infant and toddler childcare is available during the 9:00am Service, Sunday School, and 11:00am Service. Younger children are always welcome in the Worship Services as well.
